Not just one victim
For every instant of bullying, there are 2 victims, not just one. The bully him/herself is also the victim. Every time a bully torments someone, they are really tormenting themselves. Most possibly because of a higher force tormenting them, repressed memories, or abuse from home. So while the victim gets mental help, perhaps the tormentors should gain help as well."When a bully can recognize that everyone deserves respect, he is less likely to engange in bullying" (bullying.about.com)
One way how people can help the bully is by giving them therapy to help them control their anger. If bullies were able to maintain their demons, hen they most likely would not cause agony to any more victims. Not only would this prevent increased numbers of bullying victims, this would take one more bully of the face of the earth."Remind the bully that anger is a normal human emotion, but that he hs a choice in how he expresses that emotion."(bullying.about.com)
Another way how pople can help bullies is by improving the guidance consueling that helps people with mental issues. While the victims themselves should get guidance consuelors to help them as well, the bullies should also consider help as well. "Some bullies target other kids because they lack self-esteem. As a result, they bully others in an attempt to feel better about themselves." (bullying.about.com) Perhaps imporved guidance consueling would not only aid victims, it could also help guidance consuelors on how why the bullies torment others , and how to help them as a better person overall.
For every instant of bullying there are 2 victims yes, however it is crucial to prevent any more acts of bullying causing turmoil to any more innocents, so every time a victim gets help, it is recomended that the tormenter recieves help as well, after all, bullies are just as human as anybody else under the skin. "In essence- help both victim and the bully and that curtails bullying a lot more than putting it in someone else's lap" (http: //www.stompoutbullying.org/
